8020REI, a data analytics company that helps real estate investors obtain better data and build custom marketing plans, based in USA, is seeking a Tech Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers to design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to design and implement high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify technical solutions.

Ensure that the team is following best practices, coding standards, and agile methodologies such as SCRUM.

Review code and designs to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide technical guidance to the team.

Participate in code and design reviews to ensure code quality.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development with at least 2 years of experience leading a development team.
  • Strong experience with PHP Laravel
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Vue Js y Vuex (Javascript).
  • Experience with database design and integration, including MySQL or similar.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating with external systems.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • English & Spanish are a must.
